Our Earth; not their world

 

 

Do you believe our world is changing for the worse? Does it seem a horrible place?

 

Many I am sure will say it is changing for the worse, as all outside appearances seem to indicate that it is. Shootings left and right, wars and rumors of wars, the appearance of more and more street drugs, alcoholism, jails full to brimming, increases in rape and other type abuses, violent dictators massacring their people, nuclear power plant disasters, violent weather conditions, earthquakes, cancer and other deadly diseases on the rise, corruption within all our governmental bodies, rights of the people being lost at an alarming rate, more and more cases of corruption within corporations, police abusing their power, oil rig disasters of massive proportions, pollution increasing at an alarming rate, animal species becoming extinct, concomitant animal abuses, poverty and homelessness on the rise, no jobs and impending economic collapse, devaluation of the dollar, increasing taxation to the point that even working two or three jobs leaves families on the poverty line, food and other necessities costing so much that many do without, housing costs and utilities’ privatization leading to debt and homelessness, insurance companies becoming so corrupt and greedy that many are without coverage for even the most minimal medical, dental and visual necessities, laws and regulations being enacted, all and sundry, with little logical reasoning. Rumors of the impending loss of established social services like Social Security, the destabilization of medicare and other type aids to the people. This list could go on and on with the perceived reality of all that is negative and bad in our world.

 

I will agree that our world does seem to be worse than ever before. With emphasis on the word ‘seem.’ Each one of us has the ability to have a separate objective and subjective perception. Through our subjective perception we will make judgments, design beliefs and ideologies, and make decisions based upon what we personally experience in our lives. Through our objective perception we will do the same, but from a viewpoint based solely upon things we know of but have not experienced directly.

 

When I was a nurse in Intensive Care back in the 80’s, we admitted every patient into the ICU with S.O.A.P., an acronym for subjective, objective, assessment, plan. This document became a permanent part of the patient’s medical record and was what every subsequent decision was based upon. It was the foundation, the root, to help determine the medical care needed. We had to ask the patient (or if the patient was unable to respond to questions, their family member) what he/she had experienced or was experiencing or feeling. This comprised the subjective part of S.O.A.P.

 

We then had to make observations which we could assess through what we saw as we looked at the patient, listened to the patient, through obtaining vital signs, listening to the rhythm of the heart and the lungs, obtaining an EKG or EEG, looking at the skin, eyes, nails and hair, feeling for the pulse in the extremities, along with a myriad other observations. As we could not profess to be the patient through these tests, only to be the observer, the answers we obtained were based upon our objective reasoning.

 

We then came to the assessment, which in essence is the compilation of the patients subjective experiences and our own objective ones. The plan comprised what medical treatment we had decided upon based upon the patient’s subjective input, our objective input and the input of the assessment.

 

So when you make a decision as to the plight of our world, use the S.O.A.P. assessment. Not with you as the patient, or the world, but our Earth and every creature she is home to. When they encourage us to look at our world and the shambles it is in, it distances us from our assessments, the objective ones and the subjective ones. When we think ‘world’ our brain breaks it into many bits and pieces and it seems ‘not us’ or cold and impersonal, and far away. When we think our ‘Earth,’ there is a feeling of solidity and warmth to it, a personalization. Can you take the time to perceive our personal Earth and not the impersonal world? You will begin to feel a warmth that lets you know…it’s okay. Things are not as they appear. A feeling of unity will come over you that will give you peace amongst seeming chaos, you will begin to feel the love that pervades our planet amongst what appears to be all hatred and anger. Our Earth is here, the world is out there. Take your Earth back, let the purveyors of the world, have their world. It is illusionary and of their making. It exists within their stylized 360′ Reality Theater that has held billions and billions of seats holding billions and billions of people, all hypnotized by a never ending stage act put on to ensure what you believe to be your objective, and even many of your subjective opinions, are the script-writers, not yours . These codings are not of you, they are of them. They have convinced you that you believe in the story-lines and screenplay you interact with every day. The actors on the stage may change but the script never does.

 

They have you convinced you are one of them. A fellow actor on their stage, with story-lines and parts all of your choosing. You are not. You are in the audience, with what they hope is a permanent seat.

 

They have you believing that you are choosing your individual subjective and objective beliefs. You are not. You are in the mass mind of their making. Your participation from your theater seat in their 360′ Reality Show ensures you believe as all your co-audience believes. Which is programming of an insidious sort. Creeping into your mind with fingers of worries, fears, loathings, hatreds, prejudices and judgments that sometimes even strike a question of wonder into your consciousness, right before you close this small door of perception through distrust in yourself.

 

Many have walked or crawled out of the Reality Show, but not until the dichotomies and deceits reached such a level to penetrate through the haze, that the hypnotic trance was broken and they began to question the old script.

 

The light is so blinding when one shoves open the theater door, that for a moment it is tempting to go back inside to the known reality…but once the door slams shut behind you, there is no turning back. There is no unknowing. There is only forward onto a path of discovery, remembrance and undoing of what was done. Easy…NO…but necessary not only for yourself, but for your loved-ones and this planet that you call home.

 

Can you recall a time when you felt truly happy? Focus on it, allow yourself to feel it again, allow it to fill your heart, let it flow through your body, then when the times get difficult and the way forward seems strewn with boulders…it will pull you through.
